Flipping the Quad Shocks

Flipping the Quad Shocks
When flipping the quad shocks to make more room for the tires.
Do you flip it like front to back?
Like say you're looking at the passenger side of the car with the wheel off.
Do you put where the right side of the quad shock up to the left side and Left to the Right?
Or do you spin them, just keeping the sides where they were originally and like, rotate them so from looking at the front of the car on the passenger side.
The left side of the quad shock flipped over to the right?
This prolly sounds confusing and ill try and draw something in paint if it helps.
But any1 know what im talking about?
If so which way do you flip em for more room?

no, i dont think i'm making that kind of power, but that shouldnt matter....i took those things COMPLETELY OFF a long time ago when i had a 302/5spd...there junk, you wont get any wheel hop, you have plenty of power....they will help you PLANT YOUR TIRES with them off and put bigger tires/slicks on too

RE: Flipping the Quad Shocks
Hrmm, I'll give it a try on the street first.
The bolts are like rusted horribly bad tho
Tried loosening em earlier today, didnt work too well.
Ended up getting a socket stuck on the top left most nut on the shock.
Then spent like 15 mins tappin it trying to get it loose while tugging and pulling...
Didn't work at all
And when removing the shock, where should I support the car?
Should I keep the axle up with the rest of the car?
Or should I jack the frame rail and let the shock expand, or will it like expand and be all springing off the thing and such or something.
Not a clue
