Don't buy a stang w/ a conversion
Unless of course you know who did the work. mines got nothing but wiring problems. Here's my enwest one. Sometimes the key will not start the car meaning it won't crank I can jump the solenoid and it'll start right up. I just pulled apart the Steering column thinking I needed a new lock cylinder but tht's not the case, when I turn the key to the start position my circuit tester shows power comming from the harness so I know the problem isn't in there. whut could be causing this?

why anyone messes with it.
Good luck, sorry, electrical could be anything, sounds like maybe a loose connection somewhere

Try replacing the ignition switch. Sometimes your car might start up and other times it wont. I just replaced one with the same symptoms that you're describing. Try that or maybe a wire or connection between there and the solonoid is bad. Maybe a sticky solonoid too. But anywho give that a shot and keep us posted.

well I was just out there replacing my coil w/ an MSD one and I noticed the little wire that goes to the top post on the Solenoid (the one that just slips over the post) was really loose so I tightend it up on the post and the car starts right up. it's things like this that make me feel stupid sometimes. oh well at least it's working lol [&:]
