If it was a 98 I would say trade but a 97 with that many miles isn't worth it.

ORIGINAL: FivePointGo

I'm thinking very seriously about trading my Mustang for my friend's 97 Z28. He told me today he'd take my Stang and $800 for it. However, I think I may be able to get him down on it if I acted really interested. I love my Mustang but the offer is really tempting. What do you guys think about that? If you wanna see pics of his car just click on my CarDomain link in my sig.

maintenance wise, that car sucks,

my friend had one, and had problems with the engine valves, opti spark unit, head gasket, the security key system, handling etc etc etc, I wouldnt buy it, he loves your mustang, tha should of woke you up there.

if your friends, just swap him your car a week or somethin

Like stated above, I would trade if it was a '98+ z28, but not for a '97.

Weren't the LT1s underrated like the LS1s? As far as the value goes, I'm just going by what the NADAguide values it at which is $7,900.
