I guess I'm just gonna mull it over...however, I do think if I trade I'm going to opt to not give him any money. I'll let you guys know what happens.
Did you say mullet?

But seriously, if your GT runs good and has no problems, I say keep it rather than selling it just because your bored with it. I don't know anything about the LT1 Camaros though. Are they faster?

eh it shouldn't be about how much the car's worth unless your going to resell it right away. other than that, think of how great your 5.0 is. personally, i don't think i could ever part with mine, for any reason everrr! haha i'm just loyal like that, i don't know if anyone else feels that kind of loyalty to their 5.0 haha. good luck with that camaro though, chevy ewww haha j/k

Yea i dont everr want to sell my 5.0 either. I have complete loyalty to the 5.0, and I think its gonna be one of the serious classics in about 15 yrs. I wouldnt mind getting another car, whether it be chevy or ford or any other nice car (most likely american) for that matter.

Why would you even post this anyways? You're in MUSTANGFORUMS.COM, you know you're gonna get bashed!

Oh, and LT1s suck. They used those in the later model C-4 Vettes and the good ol' 5-Oh's would walk (well, creep) away from them.

I sold my 1988 GT for a 96 Z-28 and I have regretted it ever since. The car has no room inside and to change the spark plugs you have to drop the motor. My windows would never seal and you can not tell where the front end is at-I was always hitting curbs with the airdam. Like everyone else has said the resale value is next to nothing-probably why your friend wants to trade. In the end it is up to you but with my experince I wish I would have kept my mustang.
