i think its very possible the car has 107k miles instead of 7k

and why wouldnt he post a pic of the SVT certificate? .. or the VIN.. or any other piece of proof?

I agree. That engine bay looks way to dirty in that pic to only have 7,200 + miles. Speedometer swaps, and instrument cluster swaps are an extremely easy way to get the car at a low mileage. Look real closely at any color differences between the gauges, and the plastic cover should be perfectl at that low ileage unless the seller replaced with a new one. So in other words, I dont beleive the seller.

I have seen this car on the road before. He lives near where I work. I would have hopped on that deal long ago if he left it 100% stock but from the photos it looks like a GT with a "snake" symbol on the side. The odometer was pictured in his pictures with that milage.

I sent him an email asking a few questions to see his response. It could very well be true but I still wouldn't pay that much for it. I would have to bring him down first.

Please don't think you have a cobra r because you are missing foglights. I am sure that you would know you have one since they only made 107, ohh wait and only in 1993. They are five-lug, missing rear seats, radio, antenna. You would know... How about you chop that 3 in front and we'll see if yours is even worth that.

too many things seem off here, one you can barely see the number in front of teh 7 looks like 97k to me. Cobra emblems have obviously been off the car at some point in time, cobra should face forward not the back. What the heck is that red dot on the speedo? Wood grain trim pieces? Aftermarket intake, aftermarket shifter, car looks like it has either been beat up on or that guy does not know what he has. I would stay away!!!

I think it is probably a real cobra only because of the color! Even the engine bay! Its just not the car he says it is as far as only having 7k miles! Also could be a missprint on the milage?
