get my 302 bored to a 308
or
build a 351 powerhouse?
which would be cheaper
keep in mind i will have to buy basically all new performance parts for either one

A good friend of mine has a complete 351w pulled from a Gen 1 Lightning, he said he'd sell it for $1,500.

I understand. I was just throwing that idea out there. I'd actually like to possibly use that engine in my car someday. Does anyone have pics of a fox body with a Gen 1 Lightning motor?
