Best Street/Performance Tires?

RE: Best Street/Performance Tires?
Best tires...... why p-zero's of course, pretty much any model, but obviously the more expensive ones are better. But even the "cheap" ones are pretty pricey. But as far as affordable tires go, I LOVE Dunlop SP8000 (discontinued), SP9000. Theyre VERY sticky, nice firm sidewall, awesome in heavy or light rain. 1 drawback - treadwear is only like 180, which means even with very conservative driving theyll wear out in less than 10k. With aggressive (not doin burnouts) driving theyll last maybe 5k. Other than that, I like the BFG KDWS's, great all season tire, nice firm sidewall. BFG sizes their tires different than most tire manufacturers, theyre usually a lot wider. Also, Yokohama, Toyo, kumho, continental make good tires. IMO, best bang for the buck are Kumho Ecsta's, they have good treadwear, good traction, nice tread pattern, and theyre the most perfectly round tire out there.
-P.
PS: I run the Dunlop SP8000's.

RE: Best Street/Performance Tires?
for the cost, i dont think i could have found anything better than my Sumitomo HTRz tires. I bought 275/40/17s and 315/35/17's for 88$ and $117 respecitvely (each)
they have a tread wear if 160 (which is soft) so tey dont last very long, but they hook great
