Default Best Street/Performance Tires?

I purchased my wheels+tires at TownFairTire. They told me that Nankang NSII's were the best performance street tires they had, so I went with those.
After running those for a few months, I realize they aren't that good...I jus notice some cracking going from the side to the top of the tire.
But anyways--what tires are best for street/performance

well after having these tires for 3 years now and i cant be happier with them... Toyo Proxes T1-S the only problem with them is that they stop making them. But i heard great things about the new T1-R's

i too have the nankings and the rear tires are pretty well worn, only had them for a couple months and a few hundred miles so its hard for me to really say, but in the future i plan on switching to another brand/tire size. i've heard bridgestone and toyo make really good tires for sports cars

I'd say the bfg kdw are about some of the best street tires you can get. Don't ever go with bridgestone they are crap, believe me I used to work for firestone, they are crap.

BFG g-force's I love mine, they are great tires around town, and at the track air 'em down to about 15psi and they hook hard

BFGoodrich KDW2's....perform unbelievably and look like show tires. Check my cardomain, have a great photo of the tread. At tirerack.com they rate as the second best tire in its class out of like 43 tires and they got the best rating for dry traction. They cost me around $140 per for 245/40/17's.
