Hello all

Let me start by saying this, i know its not the right place, but i know it will get seen more here to a specific focused group:

I absolutely need a shifter linkage cable. Goes from the shifter up top to the transmission on a AOD. Also need the little connector from the linkage to the cable. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE i know some of you have these around after dropping AODs for other trannys ...

This is something you can probably easily get from any junk yard. It doesnt take long to remove... it just pops off from behind the shifter and one bolt holds it on to teh tranny. After that just remove the few screws that hold it to the fram itself and away you go. Shouldn't take longer thant 10 minuted to remove.

Are you talking about the cable that goes to the throttle body also know as tv cable? If so I have a spare one or two.

From what he is describing, it sounds like he needs tha cable that runs from the shifter to the tranny itself and not the TV cable. I could be mistaken though.

You could pull one from the junkyard out of a tbird with 5.0 or a mustang with a 5.0.

No such thing in these parts as a 5.0 car that isn't already stripped clean, if I could get it from a junkyard for $10 up the street i would gladly do that instead of asking here :-(

I've never seen lokar sell conventional shift linkage... only seen TV / Kickdown cables
