I have had so much trouble with the stinking fan I got now that I have gotten a factory fan. My harness that was on the car for the factory fan is gone..

So can someone tell me which wires are for what off the factory fan harness. If I am not mistaken, there are 3 wires that go to the fan.


what Kind of plug does it use and is there a car I can go cut the harness off of the get the plug for the fan so that it is not rigged?

I forgot that I didnt have the details in my signature on the car...

its a 1994 Cobra and its going to be using the factory 5.0L fan.

I also have a 3.8 Taurus fan apparently I am electronically challenged when it comes to these relays and controllers cause I was unable to get it to work together so I ended up hooking up the Taurus fan to the ccrm until my regular fan gets in...the Taurus fan is overkill for the setup I have and pulls lots of juice so I would rather not use it.

I am trying to get bakc to basic for the time being till I can learn more about the car.

dumba before me cut off the fan plug when they installed a cheap aftermarket fan that wasnt good enough for the car.

My replacement should be here tommorrow or so.

Black is ground, Red is high speed, Orange is low speed...or other way around, either way not hard to figure out
