Default Explorer Crank

Will the crankshaft from the 1996 explorer 5.0 I am purchasing in the morning work in my 1991 H.O.

Also, is that engine considered a H.O.?

Well since the firing order is different in an h.o. and a standard motor i would assume the crank is different

this will help you out hopefully...

http://boxwrench.net/specs_index.htm

the explorer has the standard 5.0L 302, the 5.0 HO has different heads/intake/cam, but the short blocks are the same on both the 302 and 302 ho's built after mid 80's, the 302's from '87 on they had a roller camshaft and fuel injection
