in minnesota as of 2005 if you exceed 100mph on any public road its bad news. if you have a passanger you can be charged for attempted manslaughter.
Subd. 1a. License revocation for extreme speed. The
driver's license of a person who violates any speed limit
established in this section, by driving in excess of 100 miles
per hour, is revoked for six months under section 171.17, or for
a longer minimum period of time applicable under section
169A.53, 169A.54, or 171.174.

RE: mph question
if anyone can figure out how fast i was going that would be cool since this is a speedo post. I raced a eclipse gt with the v6 and i was in 5th gear, i have 4.10 gears so my speedo is off, so the needle went past the 150mph and past the bottom and got to around the 10mph on the other side before i got scared. i wanna say around 4.5k in 5th gear or so.
