I'm thinking mayB it will be easier for my car to pass since it's an 85 w/ 92 engine and I'm looking at the emission standard.

--- NoX - Co2 - hydrocarbons

85 - 3.0 - 30.0 - 2.0

92 - 2.5 - 20.0 - 1.2

Yep, 2 of those cats, EGR, and O2's and you should coast through.

Still, don't forget all the tuneup stuff. Cap Rotor Wires plugs etc.
Pull codes before hand, just to make sure everything is up to par.


It may be worth while to check the prices at some local exhaust shops for cat parts/installs.
Keep in mind that some shops will NOT install parts that the customer supplies. This could be an issue.
