You guys act like a 5.0 is a rare car. They made almost 1 million foxbody's from '87-'93. If that was my car I would throw a blower and a nice h/c/i combo on there and since it has 12k miles you know it will last a long time with a good tune.

dude dont do anymore to that car, with such low miles it'll be worth somethin later on so dont man youll be glad that u left it stock in the end

Id honestly rather have that car with 112k than 12k. Cars are meant to be driven and stuff tends to dry rot and leak when they sit for extended periods of time.

My grandmother's car is a '93 with only 32k on it and lately stuff has been falling apart from not being driven enough. I just had to put a new battery and battery terminal in it yesterday. A few months ago one of the axle boots ripped open from dry rotting. Other stuff, mainly rubber hoses and lines have gone bad in the past few years as well.

Not being driven also stiffens the seals in the engine from not being lubricated and makes them prone to failure.

pjb.... first off its in garage 2nd off i drive it every week probally 30 - 40 miles and if i dont drive it atleast once a week those 30 - 40 miles i atleast crank it up and let it run a few mins trust me ittle be alright and ive had it fully checked over before buying it aswell. if i wanted to sell it i could sell it in 30 mins cause i know plenty of people who want it.........and keeping low miles does make sence, i went with my buddy to the junk yard one day and you shouldda seen the line of 5.0's i seen :| was pritty sad most had been modded,wrecked,and wore out, eventually the fox bodys will come to a small ammount
