so ive had my stang for 6 months... ill be getting my liscense in 40 days.... i saw my car for sale for 3250, got it for 2750 and thought it was a hell of a deal. 77k miles, engine was great, brand new T5 buuut thats about it. the body is dented ( will have to fix/replace EVERY body panel), interior is crappy...... so last night i was looking through a wheels n deals and i see a '97 t-bird. chrome cobras, tinted windows, S/C'ed 4.6!!!! holy crap!! upgraded suspension, tranny, perfect body, cowl hood. overall a sweet looking, 13 second car for 2000 more than my 15 second dented up P.O.S....... wow i should have waited[>:][>:]

im trying to talk my dad into trading our '86 monte carlo SS for it...

there will always be a 'better' deal just like there will always be a faster car... Take the money you saved and get your ride fixed!

wel my dad payed for my car ( im spoiled ) and im 100% content with it.... but he likes that generation of thunderbird better than fox stangs anyways... i wish i would have waited... i had a 5 grand spending limit on my first car and i went for half trying to be the nice kid of the family ( sister spent 4500 on a cavalier wtf )
