Default oil pan removal, oil screen access

i need to clean out the oil screen, its clogged i got low oil pressure. 5.0 dual sumps suck and on my fox, ...well is it possible to gain access to the oil screen tube by pivitoting/ taking out the oil pan? whats involved do i gotta unbolt the trans and jack them both up as a unit if jacking the engine up wont go high enough?

Dont trust your dash gauge if thats what your looking at. Mustang gauges suck, check it with an aftermarket gauge first. Then if you need to change the pan it sucks. You can jack the engine unbolt the pan, unbolt the pump and let it fall in the pan because you cant fit the pan over the K member with the pump attached. Then you can squeeze the pan over the K member and clean the screen.
