Default Should I buy this?

I have the opportunity to buy some ford racing underdrive pullys. The only problem is that the guy i am getting them from can't find the alternator pulley. He wants $40 for the water pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley. Should I buy them?

IF he doesnt have the alternator pullie I would skip them, just order new ones, but if he finds it then I would do it, either way I dont think they make much of a differnce, good luck

truthfully you only want/need the crank pulley....alt is a waste..lowers voltage output...waterpump is ok but you'll run across heating/cooling problems....

Ok thanks, but do you know if it is possible to just buy the alternator pulley. $40 is not alot of money and if i could get the alt. pulley somewhere i would do it.

I put mine on without the alt pulley and got the good results..............I had a noticible lower end pull than before. The Mac ones I put on had an alt pulley that was the same as stock? Maybe they were tired of people complaining? The HP gain is from the crank anyway...................
