rear quarter windows
My window moldings are junk and look pretty bad. I was on ebay and saw some aftermarket windows with moldings for about $300 and saw just the moldings for $60. Is it a pain to replace the moldings or should i just buy the windows? problem is the windows don't say mustang.

5.0 resto usually has them cheaper but there site is down. the quarter molding is the way to go. use a good quality adhesive like 3m moulding adhesive. also make sure you clean the area very well with a adhesive prep. i might cost you $5 more to get the cleaner but its well worth it.

If they are too far bad gone look into painting them. It takes only a few hours and everyone says it looks a lot better than the glue on moldings. I painted our and htey look great. Do a search for some thread about it since there is a lot of them.

I dont really like the molding... I seen them on a 5.0 at a carshow and I noticed instantly that they werent stock. They seemed really bulky trying to cover up the originals. It could of just been the way that person put them on but from what I seen I would never buy them.... just my .02. I got a set of PERFECT oem quarter windows for $200 bucks.

If you paint them you don thave to take them out. You can just tape around them. Its a lot less time than removing the seat and the inner quater panel.
