Well if you read my thread about my 5.0, you know the deal. I'm thinking of either getting a 96-98 cobra, or a 94-95 GT. What do you guys think? I've heard the 96-98s arent so good, but whats good with the cobras?



or hell, i might even go for a 98+ transam...

how are you comparing a 95 GT to a 96 Cobra? Nothing wrong with 94-98 Cobras...

a 95 mustang as 215

why would you compare those two?

he would prolly use the left over money if he got the 95 gt to s/c it? maybe thats what he means....

Well, ive heard the mod motors that are in the 96-98 cobras are weak, but thats all hearsay, i really dont know. I owned a 94 GT and liked it. Sure the 96-98 cobras might come with some power, but im looking at what the better motor would be, the 5.0 (of course not stock) or the cobras 4.6. If i did indeed go with the latter year cobra, i would probaly just S/C it and be done with it.

The 5.0 GT's would be cheaper and imo more fun to build. And you know what your getting as a previous 5.0 owner.

What makes the 4.6s so expensive to build? Do they have potential?
