the blue looks so awesome IMO. If you dont want it really blue get the 6000k, they're pretty white with a slight hint of blue. 4000K are normal car headlights, aka yellowish.
Awsome, but are they still really bright? Im comparing them to stockers btw....

I dont think smoked headlights will affect it much at all, s'what I plan on doing w/ mine.

I've seen HID kits run between $300-$500, you can probably spend more though.

ANY HID will be way bright compared to a stock headlight. I put in 6000k normal headlight bulbs and even these are a good deal brighter than the stock ones.

Personally I think ima go with the 8000K, i love the blue headlights

Do you think a 6000 kit would make a difference like this?

And I am not sure what kit this one is but I like that color that it gives off. I would be fine with a blue like that....

that made me laugh

I think the difference would be quite similar to that, but I have no idea which kits those are in the pictures.

LoL

Is there any real way to tell? What is the main difference in the kits? the power output?

as far as i know, the color is the only difference. Some places have pictures of each bulb, lemme check... ok i found some:

4300K

6000K

8000K

Edit: There's also a 10000K

Would people stop throwing the word rice around, as if we're at a wedding.

The higher the volts the higher intensity the bulbs are, therefor they are brighter, I've seen after market headlamp housings melt with some high intensity HID's.
so be careful with what aftermarket headlamp housing you buy.
