# Reduces wheel hop & chassis flex, improves handling
# HD tubular steel w/precision welds
# Durable powder coated finish
# Includes all necessary hardware
# Installs in approximately 1-2 hours using basic hand tools
A panhard rod basically removes ALL side to side movement of the rear end. A MUST if you like to bang corners. The way the stangs rear suspension is setup the rear end can move side to side. No more than a couple of inches but thats a couple too many. I wished I had gotten one when I installed my 8.8 (came with 7.5), I was cruisin along pretty good and went to pass a semi at a high rate of speed, felt a shimmy in the rear end then smelled burning rubber, and my left rear tire blew out. Come to find out that my rear end had shifted far enough over (about 2" toward the pass. side of the car.) so that the inside of the rear tire had rubbed on the wheel well causing it to blow out.
IMO, its a very important piece that stangs should have from the factory but dont.

RE: what mod to get next??
I think you have to drill a couple holes (maybe), bolt a bracket to the frame and another bracket to the rear end. And then there is a bar that connects the 2, not very hard at all.
