Need Help. Wasnt the Battery
 

OK, i posted like 2 hrs ago that my car wont start and didnt have power. Replies agreed that it was probably the battery. Well, the battery was dead, and now it has power, but the engine doesnt start. Still doesnt even turn over or click when im turning the keys. What could the problem be?

could be the starter soliniod. its the cylinder that sticks out from the fender that the bettery cable runs to

Check all the connections, maybe the starter. Do you get power in the car? Are you getting it to the starter? Will it crank if you jump the starter soleniod on the fenderwell? Is there power at the solenoid? If it's a stick have you tried pushstarting it?

I think i forgot to mention, i bought a new batter yand put it in. Thats why it has power.

Yes i do have power in the car. How do i tell if i am getting power to the starter? How do i jump start the solenoid?

did u make sure its in park all the way you might not be and the neitral safty switcc might be engaed a bit

OK. Problem fixed. Stupid solenoid thing... thanks for your help everyone. I was gettin quite pissed there...
