Default Help with cleaning MAF

Alright, i generally dont post questions on here asking how to fix something... but hey, gotta swallow my pride sometime!

I've been trying to tune my car, little by little and I consistantly run lean, even with bumped fuel pressure. Someone recommended that I clean otu my MAF.

How do I go about doing this? (lets avoid the dumb stuff liek taking it out of the car...) I just dont want to use the wrong chemicals or agents and possibly mess up the MAF.

Thanks for the help guys!

Take the electrical part of the maf off and take some carb spray and clean off the small wire electrode looking type piece. Don't touch it w/ anything just let it dry and reassemble it.

Most use carb cleaner or even windex.

I stick with Brake Cleaner because it will not leave a solvent residue behind.
Just spay with brake clean and reinstall.

As mentioned above there is no need to touch the wires, and they can be pretty sensitive.

Hope that clears up your issues.
