Default How to index a bellhousing

Anyone ever done this?

Have new TKO 600 and McLeod scatter shield going in.
Been told it will need indexed.
Found the offset dowel pins on Summit, but unclear as to proceedure.

Thanks for any help.

I saw a thread on how to do it on the corral, why not use the regular tko bellhousing?

dont want to be known as "old stubby", and the aluminum ones for this trans are on backorder everywhere.
