Default Gauge Question

I have a 92 gt that I am totally restoring. My question is, are the stock gauges run by the computer. I know the speedo isn't.

No, they are run by the sensors. Nothing to do w/ the computor.

Welcome to the club :P I'm in the process of turning an 87 into a 92.. almost done after almost 2 years. Completely restored as well. Actually just got my gauge cluster in it a week or so ago, reset the odometer in it.

But I think they're run off the sensors, out of curiosity.. why do you ask?

Thanks for the info. I asked cause I'm using a carburator insted of fuel injection. I want to ditch all the misc wires running to the computer from the engine bay to give it a clean look. Really guys thanks alot. I'll post so some pics when I can she'll be real nice when its all done but its going to take about a year to get it the way I want it.
