gt had the option of auto, all standard had manual. i know ga/lx had dif wieght, but not alot. the extra wt is in body AND suspention upgrades. therefore a few hundred pounds more may make a little difference, but a gt will make it up in the curves.

The GT is no different from the lx except the body kit, the suspension, engine, and the rest of the drive train is the same. And as far as interior items goes my lx has power windows, door locks, seats, and the whole nine so you can get an lx dressed up like a gt w/o the body kit. I didn't happen to like gt body kit when I bought my lx (now I do but whatever), so I have an lx but there is no difference.

The GT come with the options for auto or manual same as the LX. The LX has a 4 or 8 cylinder option, where the GT dosen't. That my be where the suspention varys a little(the 4 banger has different springs and so on) The power windows and locks and information dash lights are an option on the LX where I believe it is standard on the GT. The V8 5.0 is the same on all. Different seats and rims too. More stuff to tell, but I'm getting bored...
