so apparently my gears and shift kit didnt do anything, at this rate a supercharger and a shot will only put me in the upper 14's... freakin' great!!

Just out of curiousity, have you bumped your timing yet? If you change you bump your timing from 10* to 16* you can expect to gain roughly 18 - 24 HP from that alone. That will help some and it's 100% free. After that save up a few bucks and add some underdrive pulleys. That will add a few more HP and will cost under $100. Finally toss on a decent exhaust setup, or at least replace the midpipes with something that cna breathe a bit better than the stock pipes.

That will get you a bit closer to where you wanna be.

you need some drag radials. 3:73's took my aode from a slow launch to a spinning launch since my tires sucked. ran about the same 1/4mile.

I did try the timing, but apparently you have to run higher octane. We changed it to 14, my car spun sideways on the launch, took off and starting pinging at WOT. So we backed it down to stock- ran it again and ran my 15.5. I know the timing will definately help, just have to figure out where Im comfortable with it and fuel to use.

Most definately, tires are huge, I spin out everytime- If i were to hook up, I would probaly hit lower 15's. Thanks guys!!

Yeah, you do have to run a higher octane. But if you're looking for power and speed, you gotta pay to play

yeah, that was something I didnt realize till' after we bumped the timing. I had 3/4 tank of 87 or 89 octane, so, now I am almost on E. Im going to get the higher octane and give it another shot.
