Default alternator suggestions

i'm just curious as to what the amps the stock alternator is on my '90 5.0. i think it's about time for a new one. any suggestions? right now the car is pretty stock but it won't be forever. i want a better one than what its got because it seems pretty weak. what does everyone else have on their cars? how do you decide what alternator you need? any help is always much appreciated!

Seems to me that if youre not having charging problems, you dont need another alternator... mine (by the stock gauge) doesnt seem to be chargin well, but the car starts every time... never a dead battery... so im gonna save my money til the car doesnt start cuz the alt isnt doin it's job...

i think stock are 60amp? not very much....i paid 140 bucks for my powermaster it put's out 163amps at w.o.t. they give you a dyno sheet of what the output is...i guess i got lucky...bought it as a 140 and got 160.
