This exhaust set up....how loud?
I am going to go with BBK equal shorties with an offroad x pipe and I already have american flowmasters on them.
That set up will be how loud?
I like a good grunt but I don't want too loud. I like the way my exhaust sounds like now (factory headers, factory hpipe, american flows) but can handle a little louder.
I just don't want that super loud raspady sound that you find on some camaros and mustangs....some people like it but to me it just sounds like you have crap stuck in your exhaust.

going from a factory H pipe to an offroad mid pipe makes it MUCH MUCH louder, i could not believe the difference, it sounds like a whole new catback. Like, i think my catback with the stock H pipe was quiet, and i think how it is now is very loud.

decide for yourself. www.mustangexhaust.com i like the x-pipes better. but this way you can compare the sounds and pic for yourself.

^ thats a good link, should be a sticky, and yes i agree that an x pipe will give a more raspy aggressive sound as an h pipe will be deeper tone, my setup is the bbk equal shorties bbk h midpipe, and magnaflow tuned cat back, imo its just right, aggressive and loud at higher rpms but not obnoxious at lower rpms.
