yeah I had that, and chugging while cruising around 2500 and lower rpms. a real choppy idle, which everyone loves, but i like the way it sounds now...nice cam sound but more stable sound, dunno how to explain. might have to get a clip and compare to the stock tune

sorry no help, but I bet the big duration you have on your cam has something to do with it.

why do so many people say a stock computer can handle up to 500 hp with no problems.

well i pulled the timing chip to see if i had too much timing still did it...


can a tps out of range cause this?....i have it set at 1.0 though

depends on your setup i guess. These computers have a great learning ability, but it is going to run perfect once you put enough mods to make 500hp. your going to have a lot of driveability issues and most likely a lean issue. I say a lean issue cause if you think about it the stock computer is programmed for 19# injectors, you throw on a S/C and put some 42#rs in there its not going to allow enough fuel to pass through. Yes you can get an aftermarket MAF "calibrated" for your injectors, but all that is doing is fooling your computer by making it think there is a lot more air coming into the engine. its basically just a quick fix. to do it right you need to reprogram the EEC
