you have a '69 motor in your fox? or your '69 'stang ?

if your talking your '69 stang, a bump in gearsets if your not already sporting 4.10's, a 3500 stall if you have a c4 , or a toploader 4-speed if you have a 3-speed now

or just go with a c4 + 3500 stall, port the heads, do the exhaust , and gear it hard. don't be skeered.

then spray it...no matter what it is.....spray it

well the mods in your sig will have you going 12's if the spray is jetted for about 100 hp.

assuming the motor is making roughly 250 hp by itself. are the heads on ? if not port and polish the exhaust, cleanup the intakes....smooth out the radius' and deck them just a little...comp valve job , i think the combustion chambers in those heaeds are huge, get them to about 9.5:1 compression (more if your not gonna spray it)

do the suspension a bit...lower control arms, cheater slicks , and i prefer 4.10's, but if you have to go 3.73 do it. 4.10's only raise your r's by another 250

i knock down 21 mpg with my 4.10's on the freeway. tach about 3000@80 mph

i know forsure i'm doing this to it:

-the 302 is getting decked out to a 306ci
-4 barrel intake
-600 carb
-flowmater exhaust
-C4 + 3500 stall
-3.73 gears
-150 shot of nitrous
