some kid wants to race me in the WRX STI w/ and "exhaust" don't know whut he means by that I havn't seen the car yet. prolly just a coffee can. anyway I wanna know if you guys think I can beat him. my cars a 5spd all my mods are listed except the K&N air filter but U can't leave that one out. Car-stats.com says the STI does 13.2 1/4mi but that's pro drive right? I'm thinking it's gonna be a close race. only thing I'm worried about is his AWD and I'm running 4.10s on a 5spd w/ street tires, it can be a little tricky to hook up. should I add my Nitrous bottle 1st to give me an edge?

Im not sure about what your 4.10s do for you because I still have stock gearing.

If he has soft compound tires he'll take you. They are quick.

Take a step back here, AWD 300 horsepower Subie vs. a (maybe) 240 HP RWD stang with gears and no slicks. If the kid in the Subie knows how to launch it and drive it, he's gonna eat you.

that car will eat your alive. once he launches and gets that turbo to spool, if your not ahead of him by then he's gone

what you saw was a wrx... not a wrx sti. or a ****ty driver... or someone not driving it hard at all. my bet is it was not an sti
