Adding nitrous to the amount of power you're already running would really be pushing the limits of the motor.

EDIT: ummm...is this your car on ebay? Same power rating and way of description as your sig.

They don't like detonation. Bring the fuel and don't worry about it. I've sprayed 175hp on hypereutectics. I have one friend that has sprayed 200hp on his 93 sotck shortblock and another buddy how has put 16psi to his. None of us have ever hurt a piston, but the 16psi guy did crack the block... after 2 years of nitrous and 4 years of boost.

yea, with 471hp, i wouldnt go spraying or boosting it. The motor will probably clock out after a few sprays or about 5-8psi.

You have 471hp with the hyper pistons? How many miles are on them?

Hyper pistons arent as bad as people think they are..... if you are careful they will last and take some abuse. More than what most people throw at them anyway.

FullAuto's post is just another example. I plan on running a H/C/I combo with 10psi on hyper's... well see how it goes

hypers are stronger the a standard cast piston... but not as strong as forged.. i think the have a higher silica content in the metal then a standard cast piston... not posative though.
