Crappy 5.0 brakes
Ok, so I've almost rearended someone 3 times because my mustang hates emergency braking. I want to know if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on how to upgrade your brakes and stopping power on a 5.0 mustang without breaking the bank. Any suggestions would help.

safety in a mustang without breaking the bank?? lol, thats a nice idea, if you want safety its gonna cost, one way or the other,

call them up, they have a complete package to upgrade your front brakes and convert your rear drums to discs, while still keeping the 4 lug pattern.
last time I checked it was just under a grand

Calipers off a late 80's Mark VII are a good start. $30 for the pair remanufactured when I got them. Mustangs had a 56mm caliper, the lincolns had a 70mm caliper, so MUCH bigger and is a direct bolt-on.
