side molding?

Default side molding?

im putting new doors and a fender on my car...and when i took the molding off the old car to put it on the new ones...it came off...but the molding is wavy...does anyone know any companies that sell molding for a 85 gt?

did you 3m tape it?....i worked with my moldings for awhile...but 50restore can hook you up

ya i bought some 3m double side tape...but the molding i took off is pretty much screwed...unless i can heat it back up and then put it on...if it stays flat

why is it messed up? just because its bent and stuff? If thats what you are talking about Im pretty sure all door moldings are that way after you take them off. I have taken them off of 4 doors already and everyone that I took off got pretty warped. I think once you stick them back on they will flatten/straighten out.

did you take off the metal strips on the back of the molding? If not you need to do that and it will straighten out. Then put the 3m molding tape on it ( you can get it at autozone ) and it should be good to go.
