Lifters,pushrods,rockers....Whats your opinion ?

I need to order lifters, pushrods, and rockers tonite. Any specific brands ? i'm tryin to do all this on a budget.

The setup is gt40p heads, trickflow stage 1 cam, and trickflow intake. And i'm gonna stick with stock 1.6 rockers.
Should the lifters and pushrods all be stock size ?

Lifters same size?...yep...PR's...need to check geometry first, to determine the PR length it needs. Mock it up, buy or make your own adjustable PR, do a Valvetrain Geometry check, and order the correct length PR's based on the results. My 2¢.

I've got a set of brand new set of 16 Ford Racing lifters for a 5.0 that I bought a while back but never did anything with. Brand new still in the box, lemme know if you want them.

BTW....don't forget to upgrade the valve springs....if you haven't already. The OEM springs do not support the stg 1 cam profile.....my 2¢.

Stock length pushrods should work with the GT40's, but i would still check them, its good practice. I always make it a point to check the proper pushrod length, even if i think it 'should' work fine. Improper pushrod length puts a ton of stress on the valvetrain, thats already stressed enough. Id definatly check it, dont half ass it. if you break a pushrod or a rocker because of it, you'll wish you had. Just my 2 cents.

Yea, i read up on pushrod lengths, and i'm gonna check the length before i buy some new ones. The valve springs are already upgraded also. 92hatchlx, i'll pm you about those lifters.
