you want an '89-'92 mustang. 1) had mass-air('87/'88 didnt have it) 2) forged pistons('93 came w/ hypereutectic which lowered the hp and SUCK for forced induction). now, mods. take off the air silencer first. inside the pass side fenderwell. take off the air-filter box to get to it. then, simple mods. gears, shifter, cold-air intake, tb(throttle body and egr spacer/plate). then go from there. control arms and subframe connectors for traction issues and stability. after that, the skys the limit. heads, cam, manifold, stroker kits, superchargers, turbos, damn near anything youd want. have fun and be safe !

Your looking for "Looking for mustang knowledge" ??? well keep looking because you won't find much around here!!! j/k we're kinda in the same boat but ever since I joined this forum I learn alot from all the guys and gals --- everyone here is really cool and they're always helpful, they don't BS, if they don't know the answer they either don't reply to your post or reply refering to someone that does know or to a helpful link.

Eitherway, WELCOME!!! and consider getting a newer moder stang 99+ (my sugguestion).

I would say look for a coupe, its lighter and has a stronger body.
Good luck with your project.

well since your an import guy im sure if you put a cold air kit on and a coffee can for a muffler youll run 11's for sure J/K couldnt resist.
anyways. $3k-$5K is about right for a '91-'92 stang.
