Cobra cam was same, they just came stock with 1.7 rockers instead normal 1.6's

and yes they did degree the cam over 4 degrees, which would make a difference. I think my bad lifter
held me back too. really wasnt running quite right when we did dyno pull.

Still 260rwhp is about 325 at the crank or about right with stock cam, since most companies say about 350 with cam.

You also had a stock HO cam, they used a Cobra cam with the timing adjusted and 1.7 rr. But ya these numbers are very good and one wouldn't expect these results.

I've been trying to figure out if I should do 165's or 185's.

I've heard mixed reviews b/c of my SC.
The 185's would definetly benefit you alot more but you will need to notch you pistons if you want to use thoes heads.... thats the only problem. I am going to be in the same situation as you... thats why I am going to go with the twisted wedges. They dont flow as much as the 185's... actually not even close BUT they can be ported to flow the same as them and theres no modifications required.

I didnt read it but I trust ya... I dont see how thats possible when you can have twisted wedge heads, u/l manifold and cam and not even make 300rwhp....
