Default buying an 88

hey guys i found this guy selling an 88 gt and i decided to maybe buy it from him, since its an 88, what are some problems to look for before buying it?

rust rust rust rust.... check where the spare tire goes, hatch, doors, etc. Make sure that the torque boxes are not ripped apart, motor runs good (obviosly), no shifting problems (wether its an AOD or T5), make sure to ask for maintance records saying that the oil has been changed every 3K, etc. Check out the motor bay make sure nothing has been tampered with too bad, wiring, etc.

Is the car modified?
