door problem. need help

door problem. need help
the inside part of my driver side door is loose. it has been loose for a while and today i went to lock my car and the thing that goes up and down when u lock it fell in the door because it was so loose. have any of you had this prob and how did u fix it

Take out the one screw in speaker grill.
Take out two screws in armrest
Pop out plugs in armest and take out two bolts
take one screw out of switch cover
Take two screws out of switches to seperate them
pop off door panel
put the lock back in the original position
repeat steps backwards. good luck.

You forgot 2 screws. There is one near the handle on onenear the mirror (maybe more on a manual mirror).
Try turning the **** up a little to make it longer so it might not fall in.
