Are you sure that calculator is correct? I've read on other forums that it should be in the 2000 range. 3,500 and 4,000 seems way too high.

I am positive that calculator is correct. Don't forget that he is talking about 3rd gear here, not 4th / overdrive. He also has 4.10s on. There's no way he is going to be in the 2000 range in a gear with a 1:1 ratio with 4.10s. There's no doubt in my mind.

With his exact tire size, tranny, and gear set. at 2000 RPM he is going about 38 MPH. In 4th gear / OD he is going 55 MPH. And if he is at WOT, he will redline it (5900ish RPM) at 110 MPH.

Don't forget that 3rd gear in his tranny is only a 1:1 ratio.
