anything above 4700 rpm is a waist, you past your peak hp at 4300rpm and losing power the higher you go.

All cars are different.
Personally, everytime I back her out of the garage, I smack her around like a dirty girl, and she likes it.

Dude, you are driving an american car and they are built well, but everything breaks at some point. I say that i you cant drive it liek you want to then get rid of it!! Enjoy you car and if something breaks take it as an oppurtunity to make it better.
P.s. there is no advantage to taking your car over 5200 rpm....you loose horsepower at higher rpms.. unless you have heads cam ect.

yes, but shifting higher allows the next gear to be higher in the powerband.

your fine man, and 6k isnt so bad at shifting, your factory tach can be off quite a bit, i know a guy that shifts at 6000-65000 because the tacs not accurate and he proved it for the most part, it wasnt off as much as he thought but it was off, when he put a after market tach and stuff in, when he was shifting at 6000 it was around 5600-5700 or something like that dont remem exactly.

I don't bring it up there unless I'm racing.
