electric fan installed :)

RE: electric fan installed :)
You got it and I did already adjust the control module so the fan kick on when it gets up to temp and that worked fine. My car runs real cool becuz of the Fluidyne aluminum fan already. I lined up the fan on the radiator last night, tightend everything down and just need to shorten some wires and do the ignition thing and I'm done. I zip tied and put eletcrical tape on the wires, so it's pretty much ready.
When you do it, make sure you have an extra set of hands, so they can push the fan into the radiator tight, while you tigthen up the bolts.

I have a 13 year old brother so I always have an extra hand lol
I help him out with hit little RC cars and he gives me a hand holding something, etc. whenever I need it
IM BRAINWASHING HIM!! [8D] Last year the kid wanted NOTHING to do with cars... especially Mustangs. Now, one year later I found his book for school with pictures of blown 5.0's on it with a pictures of my car on the back doing my burnout lol

I'm trying to button mine up tonight and just trying to find the hot wire from the ignition switch that will make fan turn on when you turn on the ignition. I'm talking about before you start the car and it heats up and the fan switches on.
I have mine in tight too and don't think I'll have a problem with it rubbing.
How hard was it to wire the manual switch?

This is probably the most mis-understood mod out there, you lose power by switiching over to an electric fan, not gain any. A clutch fan draws pure mechanical energy straight from the engine, where-as for an electric fan, the alternator converts mechanical energy to electrical energy for the fan (10% efficiency loss) and then the fan converts electrical energy back into mechanical energy (another 10% efficiency loss) so all in all, you gain roughly 20% more drag from the alternatior over a stock clutch fan.
Only advantage to an electric fan, is the ability to turn it off for the 1/4
