Default electric fan installed :)

well i went to the junk yard yesterday got an electric fan for $20 and spent all day installing it. its up and its running good. will this mod give me a bit more horsepower?

Yeah, it should free up a few extra ponies because of less drag with the clutch fan gone. What car did you get it from? SN95? Taurus?

I'm just about done with installing mine as well. I got the Black Magic Xtreme fan, but obviously the concept is the same. I didn't do a manual switch or wire into the a.c., because I didn't see the purpose. Once you set the temp. on the control module, the fan turns on anyway.

im not even sure what kind of fan it is , the guy had a pile so i just got one that fitted my dimensions. i have mine running on a switch but i always have it on cause my temp gauge doesnt work. thats my next project today.

Where did you get the manual switch? I thought mine came with one, but it didn't.

I'm still trying to locate the wire in the ignition, which will turn the fan on when I turn the ignition on without turning the car on. I'm alos concerned about how close the fan is to the pulleys, but I don't see any way around this. I should have it done and on the road tonight.
