NOS ideas and feedback...
I would like you guys to look over my NOS plan and see if you have any other ideas before i buy
i recently talked to a guy in Houston at Fastlane performance. He told me that i should look at the Cold Fusion Nos kit (#1101 or 1100) a bottle heater, the MSD 6520 (digital 6 plus) and go with a cooler plug (down 2 heat ranges).
He also told me that I would need a 255 lpm fuel pump and a wet kit is a better way to go to be on the safe side.
I figured this to cost me about 850 plus installation and tune.
Anyone else have feedback or comments?

RE: NOS ideas and feedback...
Depends on how big a shot you want to run. For a 150 shot, you need the 255 Fuel pump for sure. The upgraded ignition will also help out a lot, and the bottle warmer is also a good idea. Nitrous is a lot more complicated than most people think it is.

with a stock intake the 100 dry shot is the way for safe operation....do buy a fuel pressure cut off switch....you could just buy a 75lph inline pump which will keep you from leaning out if the intank goes south on ya even if it's a 255..as far as 2 steps I would say no til you can read the plugs..now going with 9-10 degrees timing is more of a concern...I would buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and buy the bottle warmer at a later date..I'm a NX fan... you could integrat the nitrous with your MSD for certain rpm range you what the juice on....this is why I use a progression system as I can lead in say 35 at the hole shot and progressly add more as the run goes along with backing it off about 5 foot from the end on the run so it's less possible for a nitrous backfire..

as far as a tune and a fuel pump goes it definatly will be determined by the size shot and wet or dry.
really, a 190 lph would be fine for either wet or dry.
and a tune probably wonl'dt be necessary with a small dry shot, proalby a small wet shot either.
The ignition, I wuld get. But if you don't want the digital 6, you could just get the 6A(L) and get a window switch.
I have a 100 shot dry, with all that and I'm cool.

I have a digital 6 and it works great, I have it and a msd window switch hooked up, so my timing automatically retards its self 2 degrees when the nitrous kicks in, seems like the best way to do it to me, but they are pricey

For reference, I spray a NOS 110 dry shot with stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock iginition, no tune, etc, etc. On the dyno, she was actually PIG rich! Leaned her out with a little larger nitrous jet. Then again, I'm a little crazy![&:]
