Default Custom Intake mainfold?

Does anyone make an intake manifold with a forward facing throttle body for the 5.0L. Does anyone have any pics of one. Also, does anybody have any pics of any custom engines covers.

there once was one, it looked like a BBK SSI intake, it never lived up to the potential. The reason why it works in a Chevy is the location of the distributor

You're looking for a manifold similar to a camaro/firebird intake?

Why? Want to use their type of ram air?

I have seen one...but have no clue on who made it...

I second maybe it was BBK.

Yeah that could be a problem. I've got a 91 GT motor in a 68 mustang (Fuel Injection). I am trying to build a Foose Style show car out of it. The stock type intake just doesn't do it for me. Any suggestions?

If I had Chip's money...I would build an intake with a pair of plenums that have runners aimed directly into the cylinders, with a throttle body on the front of each plenum, say a 35mm each...nice, clean welds on sheat aluminum....you get the idea....

on a side note, the Tub that Chip did with the 312 and the cast iron Cruise-O-Matic is my favorite car that he has done. I have to ask, why the crappy Cruise-O-Matic instead of a C4 or an AOD?

I get the idea! And if i had the money and skills that he has, I would do the same thing. And as far as the cruise-o-matic is concerned, i don't get it either.
