Default Friends getting GTO, need help.

Well my friend bought an 05 LS2 GTO and its coming in 7 weeks. This might sound like nonsense, but what do i need to do to beat an LS2 GTO without costing an arm and a leg ?(spray is the only advice im not open to).


my car is 94 GT

how come you dont wanna spray, i dont have nos but for a good 75-100 hp ive heard its awesome, w/o im pretty sure your going to need alot more, which will cost you an arm and a leg

125 shot with no problems just retard the timing a couple degrees and wooolaahh.

I heard 94 and 95s have hypereutectic (SP?) pistons and spraying too big a shot is a no no. Any info on this?

You can run a 125 shot on a cast piston. What you have is better than cast. Get you a fuel pressure gauge turn the timing back and spray that sh*t you will be fine. Hell I have run as much as 175 on a cast piston. It took some nerve and research to be comfortable to hit the button the first time, but no problem out of it though. As long as you have enough fuel and right timing you have nothing to worry about.
