Default WHAT HECK IS THIS PUMP?
Im new to the fox bodies and 5.0 what is that pump thats just above and to the left of the alternator on the pulley system?

Directly below the alternator is the air pump, if that is what you mean.

My air pump was removed on my car when I got it, but my buddy wants to get ride of his off his 95 gt. Do I just remove it and find the right sized belt? Does it **** with the computer or emissions ****?

didnt mess with my 89 computer till egr came off

also took ac off, moved power steering up to keep a working belt patern and then got a pulleys and a shorter belt

if you take the smog pump out make sure that you plug up the holes in the headers... also when you do it'll shorten the life of your cats
