Capri was just Mercury's Mustang, and Ford's attempt at something "euro" looking in the 80's
basically same car when you take the sheet metal off.
just looks like a 4 eye mustang to me with a HIDEOUS hatch back
Looks like LX body, with Saleen ground effects, shaker hood, fugly hatchback and standard 10hole LX wheels

Man, when I saw the first pic I was like "that's not a bad lookin car at all." Then I saw the pic of the hatch and it is absolutely terrible. Oh well. sometimes you can't have your cake and eat it to. My guess would be to look up the weight of the car. It sounds like everything else is nearly the same.

the earlier capri's did not have the bubble hatch. I had an 81, title said 2600 pounds and change. droped in a carbed 92 5.0 ho. and was running 14.01's on 185/80/13 tires, with a stock c4 trans. wish i still had the time slips to show you. that was about 12 years ago.
