i dont see a capri weighing anymore than a mustang

basicaly identical cars.. they just werent popular.

why get a capri when you could get a 5.0 mustang gt for around 10k back in the 80's?

mustangs outsold everything for a reason

Thats a beautiful capri, I have always had a soft spot for those cars. I forgot what magazine it was but there was a build up on one and they sweezed about 300 rwhp with a stealth mani AFR 165's and some other bolt ons.

You can swap out the rear hatch and bumper to the mustang ones for the cleaner look. Everything bolts right on.

mercury capris came standard with the same t5 the mustangs did, they were identical cars except for some sheet metal difference.

the hood scoop is a solid chunk of plastic, it is bolted to the hood. you cant use it for a hood scoop for hood clearance.

i like the flared dender look theres a man in town that has an svo capri its an original car i havent been able to find anyinfo on it its a 86 carshas the flush composite headlights. but i like the mustang nose and rear bumper and hatch on the capri
